ARE YOU LETTING GOD'S SPIRIT LEAD? -
This is another very important question to ask, because your eternity depends on it. For to walk in the flesh is death, but to walk in the Spirit is life and peace. Rom 8:1-15
To put this in terms that we can better understand, if we continue to seek to please ourselves in life (fulfilling our lusts), we will be condemned to hell, but if we are committed to letting God lead us by His Spirit, we will inherit eternal life.
This may seem harsh, but it fits like a glove with other teachings in God's Word, and is completely necessary if we are to lead fruitful lives. We need to realize our place in comparison to God's. We are likened to sheep (not the brightest of God's creatures), and our Father in heaven is all knowing, full of all wisdom and understanding. Able to see what's in a man's heart, and capable of seeing into the future.
Realizing all of that, we'd be crazy not to let God lead the way, trusting in Him with all of our heart mind and soul. After all, it's only by the conviction of God's Spirit that anyone will be saved. So, offer your body as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to Him, for this is your reasonable service. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed thru the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to prove what is the good acceptable and perfect will of God. Rom 12:1-2
